Ryely Close grew up in Bozeman, Montana and spent her winter weekends snowboarding on the slopes of Big Sky and Bridger Bowl. She now lives in Wyoming, but returns to Bozeman often to visit her sister. She has a degree in creative writing and writes ghosty witchy horror, light unsettling fantasy, and wild thrillers.
