Ryely Close grew up in Bozeman, Montana and spent her winter weekends snowboarding on the slopes of Big Sky and Bridger Bowl. She now lives in Wyoming, but returns to Bozeman often to visit her sister. She has a degree in creative writing and writes ghosty witchy horror, light unsettling fantasy, and wild thrillers.
Close pictured at Big Sky Resort with Lone Peak in the distance, which is the inspiration for her current novel, OUT OF BOUNDS which follows two friends who find themselves lost in the Madison Mountain Range during a blizzard.
